In the past, all companies of the Eco Supplies group have shared one website domain. Due to the changes within the group, the management finds it necessary to have the website domains separate for each group company.

Website domain www.ecosupplies.eu will now dedicated exclusively to the operations of Eco Supplies Solar AB, the solar module production company.

Website domain www.ecosupplieseuropeab.com is now dedicated to the operations of Eco Supplies Europe AB, the holding company of the Eco Supplies group.

ECO Supplies gets it’s M.C.S certificate for the UK market

Munich Re to cover power output of ECO modules

Eco Supplies Solar AB (“Eco Supplies” or the “Company”) today announced that it successfully signed a deal with the German insurance company Munich Re for an insurance solution that will cover the performance warranty of its photovoltaic modules.

The insurance covers the performance warranty of Eco Supplies photovoltaic modules for a period of 25 years in accordance with the standard warranty conditions offered by the Company, guaranteeing an output of 90% in the first 10 years and 80% in the remaining 15 years.

The unique insurance solution has been developed by Munich Re’s Special Enterprise Risk division specifically to meet the requirements of the photovoltaic industry and is aimed at increasing the customers’ confidence in the Company’s solar modules.

Mr. Svante Kumlin, the new company CEO, comments:

“We are very happy to have finalized this deal with Munich Re; we strongly believe it will aid us in strengthening our position in the market. Eco Supplies Solar have been producing modules for over 19 years and never had any major issues with warranty claims, this insurance will further improve our customers’ confidence in the fact that we put quality and reliability first. It will also be a strong advantage for the customer when seeking financing for their solar parks with banks and credit institutions.”

Eco Supplies Solar Appoints New Purchasing Director

Eco Supplies Solar announced today that it has recruited Mr. Uwe Hesmert as the company’s new Purchasing Director.

Mr Hesmert has a long background from the solar business. Between 2004 and 2008 he was the Purchasing Manager for one of Solar World AG’s subsidiaries: Gällivare Photovoltaic AB (now called Eco Supplies Solar AB). Since the beginning of 2009, Mr. Hesmert was the Purchasing Director for Mage Solar AG, a major German PV producer. The position of Purchasing Director is of strategic importance to Eco Supplies Solar since the purchasing of solar cells accounts for a significant part of the total cost structure of the company.

Mr. Svante Kumlin comments: “This is a key recruitment for Eco Supplies Solar. Uwe knows this industry from the bottom up and I am particularly pleased about Uwe joining us since he does not only have great negotiations skills as well as an extensive network of global cell suppliers, but he also knows our company very well. 16 Million Euro Module Sales for Italy 2010

Eco Supplies Europe AB announced today that it has reached a major agreement to produce and deliver solar modules to Italy. Production and delivery will commence with immediate effect and continue for a period of approximately four months.

The contract is estimated to be worth in excess of 16 million Euros in revenues for Eco Supplies Europe AB.

The above-mentioned figure does not include other production agreements that are currently in place in the company.
